The following conditions apply to all holidays booked through
Le Chardon Mountain Lodges, and form the basis of the contract
between us and all persons included in the booking.
Making your Reservation
Once you have had a chance to look
through the brochure or our website, we will be more
than happy to talk through any aspects of your reservation
or questions that you might have on +44 (0)845 092 0350,
or email us on info@lechardonvaldisere.com.
We will be able to provide you with details of availability,
help you decide which of our luxury chalets in Val d'Isère is best suited to your needs,
discuss any individual requests that you might have and provide
a personal quotation giving a detailed and complete costing
for the holiday.
You are welcome to make a preliminary reservation
on your chosen chalet (option) to give you time to confirm
details with other members of your party. If you do not confirm your booking
by the end of the third day the chalet will then able to be
offered to other parties.
Securing your reservation
Having read and understood all terms
and conditions relating to your booking, please sign the agreement
slip and return it to us with the required deposit. If
you are booking within 10 weeks of the departure date, we
will require payment of the balance in full.
Please note that until we have received payment and the signed
agreement slip, your booking will only be treated as an option.
Payments can be made by cheque, bank transfer or credit card.
Please note that there is a fee on payments taken by
credit card. We can not accept payment by AMEX or DINERS cards.
Please make cheques payable to Le Chardon Mountain Lodges.
Payments must be made in advance of travel.
Passports, Visas and insurance
You are responsible for ensuring
that your passports and any other documents required for entering
into another country are correct and up to date, and are valid
for the duration of your holiday. Please note that all children
including infants require their own passports.
Neither vaccinations
nor visas are required for either France or Switzerland for
clients travelling from the UK and other EU nations; however
we do recommend that pregnant women and those with existing
medical conditions are advised to seek clearance from their
doctor prior to travel.
Travel Arrangements
Please note that our holiday prices
are accommodation only and do not include flights or transfers.
Booking early will therefore allow you the luxury of greater
choice of flight options. If we need to book transport specifically
for your trip, please provide a credit card authority and
agree to pay the full cost before we can request the transport.
We are also more than happy to arrange private flights through
our specialist providers; a private plane with helicopter
transfer to Val d'Isère is by far the quickest and most comfortable
method of transport.
We are also happy to arrange transfers from airports to Val d'Isère by taxi or helicopter. These will be charged to you
at cost and we would be grateful if you could contact us to
discuss your requirements, at the time of booking. Within
Val d’Isere, chauffeured vehicles are available daily
and will drive you anywhere within the resort.
Check in and Check out

Rooms within the chalets will not
normally be ready to be accessed prior to 16h00 on the day
of arrival. However, if you are arriving prior to this, we
will endeavour to get them ready for an earlier time –
but this can not be guaranteed.
We do ask guests to be patient,
and are more than happy to house bags in the reception rooms,
to allow you to leave the chalet at your wish. Check out is
normally at 09h00 but again, we will try to accommodate late
departures within reason.
